So, I have used ubuntu for my server for a year now and I can tell you that this is by far the most frustrating distro I have used ever. The amount of annoyences I have dealt with was genuently disgusting to me. How Canoncile, which brought linux to the masses, could have made a server OS so useless for general server computing, at least to me. I’ll quickly will go over what caused me to get so frustrated with Ubuntu, and in what cases it has caused me issues.

Browsers are probably the most used app on the computer. I have never seen a person that does not have one cause today browsing the internet is the primary use of a computer. So what browser to use? Well every normie I know will just answer: “Use Google Chrome!” and it baffles me. There are tons of great browsers out there, and you choose Google Chrome? Due to Google’s aggressive advertising Google Chrome was able to climb on top and dominate the browser game for years now.

Certainly everybody knows what Microsoft Word is. This program that defined how document files are displayed and edited. Hell, it is so popular that there are tons of similar programs such as LibreOffice’s writer. Why is it so popular? Well the reason is the same for every mainstream program: it’s easy to use for a person that never used it before and Microsoft’s monopoly. Program can be figured out and used after max 2 minutes of just playing around with it, they even teach you how to use it at school due to how Microsoft throws it into every bulk order of their system.
